About Me
I’m always excited to hear about a new opportunity, which is partially why I wear many different hats representing such different projects and activities. The primary hat I wear is a music educator. I am very passionate about the importance of music in our world, its ability to help people connect with one another, and the opportunity it gives people to express themselves.
I am an avid supporter of bringing music technology in the classroom and finding ways to reach students who are not normally drawn to the performance ensembles typically offered in schools. At the same time, I am dedicated to giving music students at any age a strong musical background that does not compromise musical integrity.
I also regularly act as a music critic and radio presenter, which I view as a way to share the music that excites me with others. Some of this work can be found on my sister website: Endless Possibilities. I’m also very proud to be able to help out the music critic and author of a soon to be released book on growing the classical music world, Greg Sandow. I am assisting him by documenting the Solutions that people are offering to grow the relevance of the art form in the public.
Finally, I am a composer and trombonist. As all music educators should be, I attempt to stay as active in my art form as possible so I can share my experiences and love for music with my students. I also find both writing music and performing it to be good for the soul and my personal growth.
